Eat + Drink + Do + Wear: a Wilson Family Fall Bucketlist

Feeling so behind the eight ball already this Fall – its mid October. I haven’t decorated the porch yet. I haven’t bought any pumpkins yet. I haven’t shared a backyard bonfire with Tay yet. The list goes on and on. But…the keyword here is YET. I’ve got time, right?

Stella is 2 months old this weekend; and let me tell you, every day is a new challenge! Somedays I feel like my heads above water, I’m killin this new mama gig, and I’ve got energy for things like blog posts and Fall activities. Other days, I’m crying mascara stained tears onto my daughters swaddle bouncing her for endless hours trying to get her to sleep. Ya win some ya lose some.

I’ll cut myself some slack with my delay in checking off some Fall Bucketlist items. With a newborn, things just take longer, and are that much harder. But for good, squishy + snuggly reason!

With that said, that doesn’t mean I can’t share our Fall Bucketlist with you all. If you’ll allow me to live vicariously through your Fall experiences! In the meantime, I’ll celebrate trying to complete even half of these items.

I’ve divided up our Fall Bucketlist into four categories: Eat. Drink. Do. Wear. Because Fall really is a season of yummy foods, splurge worthy beverages, traditions + activities, and showstopper, cozy outfits!

I’ll link some of our favorite fall recipes here:

CROCK POT WHITE CHICKEN CHILI | STUFFED ACORN SQUASH |

HALLOWEEN HASH | BUTTERNUT SQUASH BAKE |

The Maple Bourbon coffee grounds is a Home Goods seasonal find thats on the shelves every September! I like to mix it with Premier Protein’s cinnamon roll flavored protein shake for a hot or iced Fall breakfast!

I’m so excited to share some of these traditions with Stella! Early September, we visited Julian to go apple picking. We’ve loved sunset walks in our neighborhood (the Fall sunsets are just prettier in my opinion). No idea what we’ll be dressing up Stella for Halloween this year…and time is ticking, I need to make a decision.

I sourced some Fall porch decor today, so be on the lookout for that post 🙂

I’m a summer/sunshine girl at heart, but fashion is easily my favorite part about the Fall season. Not even really for the leggings and cardigans. More so, for the fun textures that come with the changing of seasons. Think corduroy, tweed, wool, snakeskin, suede, and faux leather + fur. Come to mama! I’ve shared my favorite Fall look from last season on Instagram, and you’ll find this same look on the rack this season.
