Is this a joke or are we already in June!? So cliché, but time really does fly the older you get. We celebrated Taylor’s 30th birthday this past weekend, and we’re both just pinching ourselves – is my husband actually 30? Are we actually going to be parents in 8 weeks? Is 2021 already just about half over? I blame pregnancy hormones, a busy lifestyle, and this blur of a pandemic year for the feeling that time is flying by faster than normal.
Throughout 2020’s stay-at-home orders, and now 2021 being pregnant, I’m finding myself depending on online shopping even more than usual. Apps like Amazon and LIKE.to.KNOW.it just make it way too easy! Starting with this past month, I’ll be sharing monthly roundups of what I purchased from Amazon!
This month’s Amazon Finds were a wide range of staple restocks (like protein powder and hairspray), clothes for Baby W, some postpartum essentials, and other miscellaneous goodies for our home! Today, I’m sharing EVERYTHING I PURCHASED FROM AMAZON IN MAY. I hope you find some of these Amazon products making their way to your home too, and that you love them as much as I do!

EVERYTHING I PURCHASED FROM AMAZON IN MAY
1 // RIBBED NEWBORN SET
I am loving all the neutral clothing options for Baby W! Tay and I are choosing to wait until delivery to find out Baby W’s gender, so its all neutral color schemes until then! Ordered this ribbed set in size 0-3 months as Baby W’s summer arrival will mean some hot San Diego days in September and October. This set comes in almost 30 different colors, and ranges in price from $8 – $14!
2 // ISOPURE LOW CARB PROTEIN
This protein powder has been a purchase on repeat for years now. Going on 5 of 6 years committed to this protein! I’ve tried a few flavors; and while my favorite is Dutch Chocolate, I also love the Strawberries & Cream, Bananas & Cream, and Cookies & Cream flavors. Majority of their products are low carb, which helps me meet my macro goals – though some of Isopure’s products are ZERO carb! 2 scoops (50g Protein) everyday post workout, mixed with 8oz cold water. One tub lasts me about a month.
3 // BLACK NUMBER BIRTHDAY CANDLES
These babies are heavy duty! As previously mentioned, we celebrated Tay’s 30th birthday this month. These black glitter candles topped his ice cream sundae cake. A big, statement-making cake topper standing almost 6 inches tall – and priced under $8!
4 // COLLAPSIBLE FABRIC STORAGE CUBES
End of May was the start of nesting for Tay and I. We cleaned out the closet of our 3rd bedroom (now the nursery) to make room for Baby W and all his/her goodies! These collapsible, fabric storage cubes line the top shelf of Baby W’s closet. Providing us with organized sections for various baby items, these cubes create a clean, neutral look that is minimal and clean! Ordered a pack of 6 in Beige for $20. Also comes in 5 other colors.
5 // GLASS DISPENSER WITH GOLD SELF-POUR SPOUT
For just under $25, this glass dispenser has made its home on our kitchen counter, filled with olive oil! I love the way the gold spout matches with our neutral kitchen, and that the self-pour spout doesn’t drip! Holding 8oz of liquid, this recycled glass bottle can be used for olive oil, vinegar, or mouthwash on your bathroom counter! Must have.
6 // TANGELO PALM FROND COUNTERTOP SPRAY
Another pregnancy-hormone induced purchase. Our lemon scented kitchen cleaner now makes me sick! Reading through a few articles about best scented multipurpose sprays, I came across this spray by Caldrea on Oprah’s Favorite Things! Tay and I love this tangelo palm frond scent; and since its made with natural protein extracts and essential oils, we know its safe for our granite countertops. 16oz bottle for around $12, will definitely be trying more of Caldrea’s scents in future Amazon orders!
7 // BIG SEXY HAIR SPRAY AND PLAY HARDER
A restock of a hair product I’ve been loyal to for years. A big ass bottle for big ass hair. I love the humidity-proof, flexible hold this spray provides, without making my curls crunchy or sticky. I’ll use this spray after I run a 1-inch barrel curling iron through my hair, and my style is held all day! 10oz for $20.
8 // NURSING MATERNITY BRAS
As I am a first-time mama, this was my first time ordering nursing bras – and these suckers do not disappoint. A 4 pack for $30, these are so stinkin soft and comfortable! I love the super-stretchy, wireless style, with a criss cross cut that allows me easy one hand pull aside access. 7 color options available, I ordered a basic pack of white, black, nude, and gray.
9 // INFANT LINEN SLEEVELESS ROMPER
Another great, gender neutral amazon find for Baby W! This link takes you to a product available in 45+ colors and designs priced $9 – $15. I can’t wait to see Baby W in this neutral beige and wooden button detail. Pair with our BabyGAP denim jacket, and kiddo is ready for a day out!
10 // BRAIDED HEELED SANDALS
Quite easily my favorite purchase from this month. I am in love with the braided sandal trend this spring/summer, and can’t wait to wear these! These square-toed sandals have a chunky heel, and thick braided straps that help my foot feel secure. Priced around $40 depending on your size, these sandals come in white, black, and various shades of nude. A staple for your summer wardrobe!
11 // NEWBORN COTTON SET
I wasn’t kidding when I said this month’s Amazon purchases were made up of clothes for Baby W – three out of twelve! This mint green is such a nice twist on a gender neutral color scheme. And I love the white drawstring on the bloomers. Baby W just needs some white sneaks to pair with this perfect summer ‘fit! Available in almost 30 colors, prices ranging $8 – $14 depending on size.
12 // OLIPOP SPARKLING TONIC
So many of my friends and coworkers have fallen in love with these healthy sodas! I’m so excited to try the Orange Squeeze flavor! A prebiotic soft drink that aids in digestive & immune health, is rich in vitamin C and plant fiber, AND is low in calories and sugar. What’s not to love. Not to mention the adorable can design, I’m hooked. A bit on the pricier end as far as sparkling beverages go, 12-pack for $37.
