Sharing my number one hair appliance has got to top the list of hair advice I can share, as its been my go-to hair appliance since I was in 8th grade! Circa 2007. It has taken me years to truly figure out how to control this wavy mane I inherited. The slightest bit of humidity, and we’re done for. You already know I only wash my hair once a week; but on that hair wash day, this ONE appliance comes in clutch to give me that salon blowout fo’ free at home.

After I wash my hair, I let my hair air dry a tad while I put on my makeup and body lotion, and grab a cup of coffee in the kitchen. The way I see it, allowing my hair some time to air dry before I start blow drying means just a bit less heat required to get it fully dry – and an opportunity to multitask!
A few days shy of 35 weeks pregnant here, I imagine post-baby that the little bit of time to air dry freshly washed hair will be spent breast-feeding, diaper changing, or soothing my little one back into the bouncer so I can finish getting ready.
Next step, part your hair at its natural part – for me, thats a center part. Use a wet brush to detangle your tresses before using the hair styler. What I love about this hair styler is that its a round bristle brush and a hair dryer ALL IN ONE. I have never been coordinated enough to hold a brush AND a hair dryer. Kudos to you if you’ve got that skill down, but why make life harder than it needs to be? I’ll hold this styler with my right hand, while I use my left hand to finger through the wet hair separating it into sections.
Truth be told, since 2007 when I first purchased this hair styler, I’ve only been using the wide-tooth comb attachment. Never using the round bristle brush attachment until today, a full 14 years later! Life forever changed. My hair is softer than ever, and the bristle brush gave some extra, unexpected volume! Having fallen in love with this hair styler using only the wide tooth comb attachment, I can say from experience you’ll be happy using either attachment – but that round bristle brush is a GAME CHANGER!
