Stella’s first Hanukkah! Both Taylor and I were raised Catholic, and we currently practice the Catholic Faith. But my Cotton side of the family is Jewish! Growing up, I loved learning about both cultures, and celebrating holidays from both religions! Now with our own babe, I’m so excited to share some of our Jewish heritage with Stella.
Hosting a family of eight for Hanukkah and cooking a few favorite dishes, all the while caring for a 3 month old – I needed a tablescape design that would be simple and easy. After some quick Pinterest inspo research, I got to work on creating this olive + gold Hanukkah tablescape, featuring our 24 inch Rettel Roller as a runner.
This was the first time I used our Rettel Co roller for a decorative table runner. It is a perfect blank canvas for me to write on, and such a unique way to personalize each place setting. Who doesn’t love sitting down at a seat with their name on it!?

Gold is so warm, neutral and inviting. Our gold votives, gold flatware, and gold lined cups bring a festive flare to the table alongside rich, fresh olive greens from our backyard.

This ‘Tree of Life’ Menorah mirrors the leaves of the olive greens, creating a cohesive look. Our tall taper candles atop the menorah provide height and dimension to the tablescape.
