Let’s just cut to the chase and admit it, raw cookie dough tastes a 1000x better than the actual cookie itself.
Who’s with me? I’ve always been a bowl-licking batter monster when it comes to baking. I’d be so excited over my confection about to go in the oven, but soon be feeling so sick and guilty over what i just devoured off the spoon. This craving is something I’m very much still struggling with. Gearing my culinary hobby away from baking has certainly helped; if i don’t make the dough, i can’t eat it right?
The more I think about this cookie dough battle, I become frustrated. It seems silly to put such emotion into one food item, but why can’t there just be a simple solution? I recently teamed up with Quest Nutrition because their products help me find that simple solution for my junk food replacements.
The first Quest Nutrition product I ever fell in love with was their Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough protein bar.
When I was in Nursing School, this was an easy go-to in the morning before class and a sweet-tooth-satisfying treat late at night in the library. 4 years later, I’m still loving this bar for SO many reasons:
- THE FLAVOR: legit tastes like cookie dough. warmed in the microwave for 10-15 seconds, absolute melty perfection
- THE MACROS: 21g Protein. 14g Fiber. 9g healthy Fats. 4g Net Carbs. 200 calories.
- THE PRICE: Roughly $2/bar
- THE INGREDIENTS: whey protein isolate, almonds, unsweetened chocolate, erythritol
- ANY TIME OF DAY: breakfast meal replacement with coffee, mid-day snack, post-workout protein, late night dessert
I challenge you to make the switch from raw cookie dough to a Quest Nutrition Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough protein bar! Your digestive tract and your jeans will thank me!
